Sip & Savour holds food and drink matching events at top restaurants in London and the UK, hosted by award-winning writers and producers.
Speakers include some of the best names in the industry such as Andrew Jefford, author of The New France and Andrew Jefford’s Wine Course and winner of the 2010 Louis Roederer International Wine Columnist of the Year award; Sarah Ahmed, the Wine Detective and winner of the Portuguese Wine Awards Wine Writer of the Year 2009; and Richard Hemming, wine writer for Sainsbury’s magazine and contributor to Jancis Robinson.com.
Each carefully-planned event includes three or four courses accompanied by specially-selected wines (and sometimes beers or spirits), chosen and introduced by the speaker. Chefs are on hand to meet guests and answer questions at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is informal, with guests encouraged to share tables of six or more.
Sip & Savour founder Amber Dalton spent ten years at award-winning food magazine Waitrose Food Illustrated, where she worked as restaurant editor and events manager before starting out on her own in September 2010.
