Richard Hemming is part of the new generation of wine writers and educators. He writes for JancisRobinson.com, Sainsbury’s Magazine and other publications, hosts wine events around London and beyond, and is in the final stages of studying to become a Master of Wine. He has devised Sip n Supper wine dinners with Amber Dalton to create informal, enjoyable wine events and to share some great bottles with great food and great people.
The Canbury Arms is a hidden gem tucked away in north Kingston between the River Thames and Richmond Park. Since opening in 2005 it has gained a reputation for serving great food, outstanding wines and superb real ales. It has been awarded several hospitality industry accolades including Time & Leisure Magazine’s Best Gastropub in London and the Surrey area in 2011 and in 2012 it was commended as Best Family Restaurant.
